    • It’s OK to start the program with simple tools such as Google Sites and Forms – but as it grows, investigate more full-featured platforms that will make it easier to post activities and tally the leaderboard.
    • Pins and badges aren’t just for teachers. Hutto asks principals and administrators to take part as a way to show buy-in for the program.
    • Encourage teachers who already practice their technology skills to participate in the program. Instructional technology specialists who see teachers modeling smart behavior can remind them about available pins and badges.
